Through the years we've had lots of TinyPortal members who have contributed to these TP documentation pages and we want this page to give them some credit for their great service to TP.
Bloc
Bjoern Kristiansen, our Founder.
A little after the appearance of SMF, a talented SMF theme designer, Bloc, had the idea to expand SMF with a custom built CMS system that would be based in SMF, using the same database as SMF, the same themes and native integration with SMF, not requiring bridges. This CMS would be easy to install as a mod, simple in database and appearance integration and Tiny in size, compared to standalone software like Mambo (later Joomla), Drupal, MK Portal etc., yet powerful. TinyPortal was first released here in February 2005. For a long time TinyPortal was available as Beta only on Bloc's site. The TP Team and alpha-testers Team were created and TP matured and evolved in time as a pioneer in forum specific CMS. Thousands of SMF+TP sites justify Bloc's dream that came into life in his agile hands.
In November 2010 Bloc decided to retire from the project, seeking other horizons. He kindly left the TP project to IchBinâ,,¢ with the support of the TP Team.

Bloc wrote most of the original TinyPortal Docs for TP 0.95 and TP 0.98.
Crip
Crip~, AKA Jeffrey P Rodefer, left this world on January 2, 2014.
Jeff was a loyal and trusted member of the TinyPortal Support Team from the early days and was one of the most prolific theme designers for the SMF forum software, with several hundred designs to his credit. Crip was well loved and well respected by all who knew him.

I started using TinyPortal very early in it's evolution, adding SMF/TP an existing HTML site in August, 2006 and making it into 'Our FamilyForum' ... the HTML site had been around for over 10 years at that time.
In July, 2007 I joined the TinyPortal Support Team and have remained active in support and beta testing ever since, except for my 'lost' year. (September 2013- late 2014)
Helped Xarcell with his creation of the Docs for TP 1.0 in 2007 and then helped G6 when she did an update of the Docs in late 2008.
In November-December 2015 I headed up the team to do a major rebuild the Docs site, including creating the Docs for TP 1.1 and TP 1.2
