There is no feature that will email any articles in TP. Sorry mate. If that is what you are saying.

u can install a newsletter script

and use that to send notifications to ur users

or better yet u can use the newsletter option built inside SMF to send notifications to users!

I doubt any portal will have the option u are looking for....

its something u will probably have to do manually or use a 'newsletter' script with that option in it

I would say look on hotscripts.com for a script like that - search for 'news letter'

Another suggestion I can give you is to go to SMf forum board and ask for a MOD to be made

Maybe someone will make it - but it all depends on if someone agrees to built it for you or not

It'd be nice if there was a way to enhance the ability to send out things by email in TP. Instead of merely relying on what's in the SMF software or a third-party script, if it could somehow enhance it for the whole of the site, including articles, news and announcements that aren't on the forums, etc.

Well, what I meant was somehow enhancing what's already built in with SMF so that you can say that TP does have a "newsletter" feature. Even if it's similar to what SMF does and, a bit overkill to design it into TP, it would still be great to be able to say that SMF does have a "newsletter" feature.

I imagine that is something people would really like to have.
