Error from ftp client:Internal error, failed to convert the data to a format that the server is able to process. May be the file or text contains unexpected characters.

So this is a fresh install of SMF and Tiny Portal. second time around same problem no TP images, icons etc. After the first time I deleted everything off the server, files folders database. I downloaded fresh SMF and TP files and installed again. SMF went smoothly both times. TP is not loading the themes/default/images/tinyportal folder. I tried to place it with my Coffee Cup FTP client and got the last error from it. Any thoughts?
thanks

Hard to say without being your server admin. However, if you were unable to upload a file through an FTP client, I'd say you have some type of server problem. You may want to contact you host and ask them why you can't upload a file.

I can up load files just not those specific ones. I uploaded all the SMF files with that FTP.

virtualdave

the package manager loaded the TP files except for the folder in question.

this seems to be a server issue, have you tried to upload through your CP. also check permissions too on the folders, (ie chmod  to 775 or even 777 (not recommended) )

Then you need to contact your host. As it would seem file permissions on the server are not allowing you to complete what you need to do.
