error in SQL syntax

I am using
Forum version: SMF 2.0 RC3
Current SMF version: SMF 2.0 RC3
TinyPortal v1.0 beta 5-1

I was adding icons to two files in the downloads section in Tiny Portal when I received the following error. 

Database Error You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 's Uploaded Files' WHERE id=2' at line 1
File: /home/sisterho/public_html/Sources/TPdlmanager.php
Line: 2052

I was told

it seems to be a bug with TP itself.

I did a search, but the only results I received were from 2005 and 2006.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There have been some bugs regarding this. Are you using an apostrophe in any of the text titles or descriptions?

No, no apostropes in any of the titles or descriptions.

Can you duplicate this.  If so, can you give us the exact steps you went through to get this error so that I can try to duplicate it on my test site?

Perhaps apostrophes are being used in the category name ?

Looks to me you might have a category called Someone's Uploaded Files..
