I don't see anything (google search box) on either of your article pages listed above.

Mick

Nevermind, I didn't see some code that was way out of alignment in the output of your page. It would appear that your <form> tag doesn't have an posting method. It needs to either use method="post" or method="get" to post the results to your page.
You didn't do what I suggested in this post in the quote. If you do, it will most likely work. Add method="post" to your form tag.

Mick

Is this the correct way to type this code?

<method="post" />

or

<method="get" />

JPDeni

As IchBin says, you need to add it to your form tag.

<form action="http://www.chevyavalancheclub.com/index.php?page=321" method="get" id="cse-search-box">

or

<form action="http://www.chevyavalancheclub.com/index.php?page=321" method="post" id="cse-search-box">

Mick

Excellent.  Now where going somewhere.

<form action="http://www.chevyavalancheclub.com/index.php?page=321" method="post" id="cse-search-box">

Using this code now takes me to my "results" page but.....it shows blank. :o

I also used method="get" but nothing happened.

JPDeni

I can't see that there's any code that shows any searching being done.

I have 2 article pages

One for the "search box"   http://www.chevyavalancheclub.com/index.php?page=320

and one for the results  http://www.chevyavalancheclub.com/index.php?page=321

This google code,suppose to search my entire forum for whatever its being searched.

Where are the instructions for this? There is definitely something missing.

In my first post:

Google gave 2 set of codes.   One code to place where you want the "search box" to appear and another set of code to where you want the "results" to appear.

I figured i could use 2 article pages.  Simply because i want to dump the SMF search box for google.  Eventually,i will add the google "search box" code in place for SMF's.

Thats pretty much it.

One more thing.   The second code,if i want to show the "results" outside of my forum,that works just fine.   ....but i rather show the "results" within.  I dont want our users to leave our website.
