Google gave 2 set of codes.   One code to place where you want the "search box" to appear and another set of code to where you want the "results" to appear.

I understand that. But they obviously didn't give you everything you needed, because you left at least one thing out of the form tag. So I'm asking where you got the instructions so that I can take a look at it and see if there's something else that you might have missed. Also, if I can see the actual instructions, it would be easier to figure out what the heck is going on.

saks

bluedevil, How you have solved this problem?

ZarPrime

saks,

Lesmond setup a google search block on our Front Page here (left panel) that works very well.  Maybe if he sees this, he will comment on how he came up with the code for it.  whether it can be adapted for articles is something I don't know but maybe Les will have some insight on this.

Yes, google search block on Front Page  works very well, But if I wish to deduce results of search at myself on a site, and I create for this purpose html article in it the information is not deduced and if I create usual html a file in it all is displayed well.

code for displey results:
<div id="cse-search-results"></div>
<script type="text/javascript">
var googleSearchIframeName = "cse-search-results";
var googleSearchFormName = "cse-search-box";
var googleSearchFrameWidth = 800;
var googleSearchDomain = "www.google.ru";
var googleSearchPath = "/cse";
</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.google.com/afsonline/show_afs_search.js"></script>

I think that probably problem that the system cannot transfer parametres of search inquiry from for article html addresses. Or the problem can be in other?

ZarPrime

saks,

I'll tell you what.  Since I don't know exactly what Bluedevil was trying to accomplish with this, it might be better to ask him directly.  Though he still checks in here once in a while, he is now a Support Specialist over at SMF so you might be better off sending him a PM over there and ask him to have a look at this topic.  Here's his profile page --> http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?action=profile;u=66180
