could just add all fresh( Sourses) files overwrite those thats there

huh?

IchBin

he's saying if you upload a fresh set of SMF files, that will over write any mods you have installed, and bring your forum to a new install state.

Crip

get the smf 115 zip, unzip & FTP all the Soruces files overwriting thos there.
I have become comfortably numb!

I'll try that.. Sorry everyone.. Just like have had it with all this already. Thanks for all the help.. I'm uploading the sources again right now

Phil Serna

Here's what I got.

QuoteTable 'OldSchool.smf_tp_variables' doesn't exist
File: /home/content/f/s/e/fserna0682/html/Sources/TPSubs.php
Line: 271

now in my db with godaddy I did remove that tp_variable

Smoky

here is what i would do..

stop and breath, you are ok..

go get the large upgrade smf

upload it to your site via ftp

go to the url that is yours and add /upgrade.php onto the end..

then go from there ;)

Phil Serna

I think I need a breather ... can u tell i'm like all fucking pist and don't know what to do? i'm like running in the middle of the street with my head chopped off

G6Cad

Pick it up so you can take that breath ;)

I have read through a lot of your posts, some are going well, some are not,

When you upload and replace your files on the server as we tell you, are you SURE the new files actually overwrite the old ones ?
It's strange that you cant get things to work, so im starting to think your files are locked and that they dont get overwritten when you try and replace them ??
