Maybe that is where my problem is.. I will try that. thank you!

For those that install manually: you don't have to apply all changes to default theme - if you are using another TP - enabled theme(or wish to).

Just do the changes to index.php, Load.php, Subs.php and Security.php, so that TP can work.

First a big thank you for putting out such a great
portal!!!!

Running SMF RC2 with default theme, the install went smoth.
But looking at the error log it tells me:

8: Undefined index: TPortal
File: /var/www/my.server..com/html/smf/Themes/default/Errors.template.php (eval?)
Line: 213
Same eror message as above comes up but with different lines:

Line: 333
Line: 780
Line: 492
Line: 502
Line: 513
Line: 502
Line: 611

any suggestions?

Please help, I am running a rather large forum with about 1500
Users online constantly.

Thanks

bloc

I guess i'm the only one having a problem. I have started over again. I installed SMF in /smf directory, uploaded TP files to /smf directory. I ran  1139149106manual_tp_install.php, no errors. Board is using default theme. Do I delete default theme and add tp_ theme or add this to what's already there? Sorry to be so dumb but I don't know what else to do at this point.  Thanks for helping.

Here's what you need to do if you can't use the package manager.
1. run the manual_install file. (which you did) <--- This installs the database tables for TP only.
3. Copy the "Files Only" package to your website. (everything is already put in folders for you, so you know where they go.)
2. you need to look at the tp-mod_instructions.txt.... Everything in that file that is related to the changes to index.php, Load.php, Subs.php and Security.php you'll have to add manually by copy and pasting the code.
3. Once you have done that, install a TP theme from Bloc's download section. Make it default for your forum and you should see that TP is now a part of your SMF forum.

tp-mod_instructions.txt- that's what i'm missing. It's not in Tinyportal0_86_filesonly.zip, you have to download the package also to get it. Thank you for your help.

ramapoughnative

me again. According to tp_mod-instruction.txt, in file index.template.php,
looking for..
<search for>
                     ', $context['common_stats']['total_posts'], ' ', $txt[95], ' ', $txt['smf88'], ' ', $context['common_stats']['total_topics'], ' ', $txt[64], ' ', $txt[525], ' <span style="white-space: nowrap;">', $context['common_stats']['total_members'], ' ', $txt[19], '</span>

                     ', $txt[656], ': ', $context['common_stats']['latest_member']['link'], '
                  </div>
               </div>';
</search for>

This is not in this file.. Something else I'm missing? thanks
