This is probaly a gallery bug as its not a default feature of SMF. Try asking in their support topic or at smfhacks.com.

I don't have the Gallery installed. I still have a feeling that it's to do with the SSI.php file, but I may be wrong.

magz also make sure that the board that you have the poll in is accessible to guests, this will also change the outcome I believe

Yes. the code checks to be sure that the user is able to see the board.

I'm begining to suspect that this may have happened after the upgrade from SMF 1.1.4 to 1.1.5.

I checked it with ExamDiff and there is a difference between the two versions. It has to do with the board ID, although I haven't looked at it closely enough to know why it would matter.

I found a bug with this, last year and I was given a fix for it.

I don't know if any work was done to SSI.php for 1.1.5, I haven't had time to check.

I tried all the codes given from the link you gave but no luck

There are changes to the SSI.php file in the 1.1.5 change log

If you open that text file and use the Find tool and search for SSI, you'll see the changes made.
I think it's a bug for SMF and until we can verify that, there isn't a lot we at TP can do because SMF need to correct it if it is a bug.
