Show Most Recent Polls to Guests

I added Poll Block (Most Recent Polls) yesterday and its working fine  :up:
When logged out from forum, Poll doesn't show.

How can I show it to Guests (but not allowing them to vote)?

I'm having to guess now that you are using TP 1.0.5 because you never mentioned it.
Please read the posting guide so we don't need to guess.

After some checking, this might be a bug. Under Guest Permissions is the option for Guests to view Polls.
This used to work in TP 0.9.8. I have the same on my site, the block is empty to guests.

Guests can view Polls in Topics.

Well thats odd because I'm using TP 1.0.5 and I am having that problem.

You need to check the Guest Permissions.

Admin > Members/Permissions > Guest/Modify > Polls/View polls [Y]


Can they view Polls in Topics?

I allowed guests to view Polls, I checked the box. But doesn't show them the Poll. They can view topics, but they can't see the poll block. Pls see my forum... Poll block is placed under Top 10 Posters.

Is this possibly a bug?

I'm begining to suspect that this may have happened after the upgrade from SMF 1.1.4 to 1.1.5.

It looks the same as on my site. At this time I am going to have to ask you to search or ask at SMF, and also check the change log for SMF 1.1.5.

I'm suspecting the SSI.php file has been changed.

Yeah, I did some changes in my SSS.php file. Ok, I'll go to SMF forum. But I would really appreciate if anybody here could help snce  this is a TP concern   

I'll be checkin this thread from time to time just in case I dont get any help from SMF...

It is a TP concern, that may have been caused by SMF. I'm not sure right now.
