What do you guys use for testing your code?

Wamp is infinitely easier than xampp.Wamp  used to install 123 no probs. With the new version 2.- there have been problems with the default install not being able to start mysql.

If this happens to you-- navagate to wamp/bin/mysql/mysql5.0.45-/my.ini  open it and look for this

# The default storage engine that will be used when create new tables when
default-storage-engine=INNODB

  and change it to

# The default storage engine that will be used when create new tables when
default-storage-engine=MyISAM

It worked for me....

and if that is your real picture I have some other suggestions

I would start out with wamp simply because the interface is so simple--it is easier to use and is more intuitive.. Click on the icon in the taskbar and open this/shut down that/ view php or mysql.open the www folder/open localhost----you know simple
