This is what the error says. Oh hello!!

admin   Today at 10:20:38 AM
***********    ********************************** action=manageboards;sa=cat;cat=2
8: Undefined index: 2
File: /home/*******/public_html/Sources/TPortal.php
Line: 285

and here is that line 285:in red: and the surrounding area.

           $request = db_query("SELECT * FROM {$tp_prefix}articles WHERE frontpage=1  AND off=0 AND approved=1 ORDER BY date DESC", __FILE__, __LINE__);

      // add the linktree for category here, if its empty of articles
      if($mycat!=''){
            TPstrip_linktree();
            // get the name of category
            TPadd_linktree($scripturl.'?cat='.$mycat , $context['TPortal']['categories']['name'][$mycat]);
      }

      if (mysql_num_rows($request) > 0)
      {

        while($row = mysql_fetch_assoc($request)){

i think it meand something is disorganized,but it is still pretty much mumbo jumbo

      smf 1.1 rc1, tp.75 ,amber theme

  Also addding the word red  in brackets[]after "and here is line 285"  changes all the text below it to red text. I changed the bracket to : after I saw it.

I don't think it happens like that in all editors that I use in other forums. Maybe it does but I never noticed it.

On a side note. Can I interest anybody in a quarterback--cheap. His name is Eli Manning :'(. All offers considered.!!!!!!!!!!!!

crip

Your errors myself am not sure..but I do know you can keep Eli!>:D .. this is Peyton's Place here.. ;D

crip

Seems Amber Theme is giving many users problems today.

superQ

He's good ,but I don't want him either.His maneuvers at the line of scrimage make me dislike him and seems it is always someone Else's fault when something goes wrong. We are basically screwed in NY Eli Manning and Chad Pennington. Neither on is really pro material imo.

Now Archie Manning. He was great and if he ever had a team he may have been one of the greatest.

Where is IchBin when I need him---again!!!!
  I think those errors are preventing me from setting up the forum or at least I don't want to do it for fear the changes will not take.

I don't thing these errors are causing any real damage. I'm not quite sure, but I think it has something to do with the Amber theme and Sub-Boards. There is another thread that g6cad has posted a similar error to this one. I don't know php well enough to figure these things out just yet.

superQ

I don't think they cause damage I just think they are no letting me delete or add[modify] boards properly. I think the errors need to be fixed. Here is something that popped up when I tried to delete a category I had created possibly before I had the right version of amber installed.

Database Error

bloc

It is indeed a error with TP when SMF is doing "manageboards". The "cat" (boards category) in that clash with TP's use of "cat" - which is fetching an article category.

superQ

#7
Is that why I see something in the manage boards section, but it does not appear in the forum and I cannot delete it.. In essence it is just typed in and ignore the error till Bloc fixes it lol.

If so how do you "manage boards"
add things and such

superQ

Sounds like you have to set up your forum then install tp and the theme.
