hi all.

i have a tp site thats run into some problems.

TP was working fine when i inserted an America's army block. But after some editing to this script i then upload WebSpecator (http://aaotracker.com/downloaddb.php?file=39).

i created an article page which had an iframe link to teh webspectator and it worked fine. after ~2 hours the article page was went white when i accessed it. now when i got up this morning to check it the whole website (forum) is white. i have an installation of joomla on the server but that has not been affected. It is using the default theme so i see no problem there.

my webpage is here: http://test.ihf.lp.pl/forums

http://test.ihf.lp.pl/cms
any ideas?

Try going direct to the Admin panel:
http://www.yoursite.com/index.php?action=admin

or use the No Blocks feature..
http://www.yoursite.com/index.php?action=admin;noblocks

http://www.yoursite.com/index.php?action=forum;noblocks

That will turn the blocks off while that command is in the URL string.

Let us know what happens.

i have tried all 3 i still get the same white screen

Then you have to manually go in through your PHP Myadmin and remove the block from the TP_Blocks table there.

both.

a block queries the server and presents some simple information eg. server name, map, round number (x/y), time left in the round.

if the user wants more info they would click "server intel" which would like them to a TP article which was a frame for another page which looks like this: http://aaotracker.com/webspec/index.php?addr=203.123.67.175:1716 this page then presented details for each individual player ie, kills, deaths, friendly fire, leader, level etc

will this remove all my blocks?

Zetan

Each block has its own ID.

If you hover over the edit button for each block, you should see the block ID number in the status area of your browser.

But, that doesn't really help you right now.

iGate

i have removed the block and article through phpmyadmin but nothing works.

is there a way to uninstall tp?

IchBin

Upload a fresh set of SMF files will restore your SMF install to default replacing any edited files. You will have to reinstall all mods. Thats the easy way.

To manually uninstall you'll have to follow the modifications doc in our Docs board to reverse the process.

best bet, is to check and make sure that your folders are all fine, did you move anything? and yes starting from scratch sometimes is the only free solution...  But make sure that you didnt move critical files (happens on accident sometimes, I have done it....doh) but just a good check makes sense...also SMF backs up files and you can revert to those if needed ( might be a shot in the dark though) they have the tilde sign after them ~

Good Luck,
