i keep installing TP but it wont install properly.. what am i doing wrong?

for the life of me this is so annoying..

i can seem to install TP, it doesnt bounce back with any errors, but when i install it, i set every file/folder to 777, use the default theme, but everytime i install it, it doesnt seem to mod any of my files.. index.php etc, and im not going through making changes to all those files, ill be there for ages, bugger that......

once its installed it wont allow me to click un-install.. and i have no front end screen.. its a nightmare and really need to fix it..

i only went down this route because my forum got hacked.... even know i had all the latest software...

what theme are you using when installing, what mods do you have, what version of smf do you have?

smf version = 1.1.2
theme = default
i installed a few packages..., but they didnt really work as well as i hoped, so i removed some.. then the forum got hacked.. so... maybe they are still installed... dunno how to remove them now..

/public_html/your-forum/Packages/ you should be able to remove them from there, always make a backup looks like you may have to go for the manual install

what about modding index.php etc.....


all the files are in sources, the "TP" files... and the TP folders... just doesnt seem to mod files..

i wish you could download the pre-modded files pack..

right i noticed all the files that were on my server were 0.00kb.... so ive just uploaded them all.

is there a quick way to do mods to the files? i really want to go through:

is it possible you could have a look at my sql/index code, to check if the hacker has messed any of it up?
