I don't know what has happened to my Latest Posts addition, I tried making another, but what happens is , for example:

1st - Me
2nd - Test
3rd - Me

What happens is:

1st - Me
2nd - Me
3rd - Me

When it should be:

1st - Me
2nd - Me
3rd - Test

What is wrong?

Stop drink all that coffee, take a calm down pill, and call us in the morning...   :2funny:

Can you try and explain this a bit better, cause from that description i dont even know where or what you are trying to do.
But if you mean Post and new posts in the forum, i think you have to talk to the support on the Simplemachines.org as the forum are their code and not Blocs  :)

Sorry I was rushing... :D

Right you know the block for TinyPortal which can show latest posts:

http://www.adminfuel.com/forum/

I have it on the left hand side of my forum. Well that is not running properly. It is running like I have kinda of explained above.

I've looked at your forum, but I don't see where the post is (the 'Test') that you say belongs in the that list.

rockinaway

On the left hand side there is a section 'Recent Posts' that is the section I am talking about. I have just given an example of what happens in first post, that isn't what it says in real :d

jacortina

Yes, I know. That block shows:

The first post contains a description, not an example. Unless there is a post somewhere which should be there and isn't, I can't see anything wrong. Please point out a post dated AFTER October 15, 2006, 08:55:25 PM that should be in that list (that block posts the most recent in reverse chronological order). I have browsed your forum and haven't found any post that SHOULD be in that block, but isn't.

If you're using a 'recentbox' block type, the configuration for it shows:
Number of recent topics to show: ##

So, it shows recent topics. That topic is already listed in the recent box.

rockinaway

Ah I see, isn't there one for recent posts?

jacortina

Not, I believe, a pre-made selection. But it's a fairly simple to adapt the code used to put in a phpbox:

global $context, $settings, $options, $txt , $modSettings;

$count='3';

// leave out the recycle board, if any
if(isset($modSettings['recycle_board']))
$bb=array($modSettings['recycle_board']);
else
$bb=array();

$what=ssi_recentPosts($count, $bb, 'array');

// Output the posts
$counter=1; $cmax=count($what);

echo '
<div style="width: 100%; overflow: hidden;">';

foreach($what as $w){
echo '
<div class="smalltext">
<a href="'.$w['href'].'">'.$w['short_subject'].'</a>
</div>
<div class="smalltext">', $txt[525], ' <b>', $w['poster']['link'], '</b></div>
<div class="smalltext">';

if(!$w['new'])
echo '<a href="'.$w['href'].'"><img border="0" src="'.$settings['images_url'].'/'.$context['user']['language'].'/new.gif" alt="new" /></a> ';

echo '['.$w['time'].']
</div>';

if($counter != $cmax)
echo '<hr />';
$counter++;
}
echo '
</div>';
