Confused about Frontpage!

Hey, I was about to ask the exact same thing when I encountered this topic.  When I set a block to show on frontpage, it does not show at all.  My site is http://www.hopero.net and I believe the first page is the front page you're talking about.  Besides frontpage, is there anyway to set where blocks show up?  Like set it to show anywhere besides the forum.

Did you activate the block?

ADMIN >> TinyPortal >> Block Manager >> Make sure the green circle is filled in by clicking on it.

Yes, in the Block Manager, create the block and set the positions that you want for that block, first. When managing that block and its settings, set the access choices at the bottom. Those access choices let you set them to show up on different pages and whatnot.

Also if you do not have the 0.9.6 update for TInyportal it will not display any dynamic blocks if you have one of the panels set to not display while in forum. Make sure you have the latest update.

It's enabled.  Where exactly on the front page is it supposed to show?

Where did you define it? There are left blocks, right blocks, center blocks and those that only show on the front page.

Yes but what about if you have assigned it FrontPage? not left right or center, as I think he has done, that was my basic question

A frontpage block appears as a center block, only on the front page though.
