Profile Stuff. How to do things with profiles!?!?

[brianjw]

How do I add like a tp support button or one of those kinds of buttons to my profile. I wouldnt use yours I would make my I own.
Im just wondering how to do itThanks

Do you need exact instructions or code?

The general answer is to look at the display.template and see how the other bits of info are displayed.  Like

• // Show avatars, images, etc.?
• // Show online and offline buttons?
• // Show how many posts they have made.
• // Show the profile, website, email address, and personal message buttons.

You will need an echo statement and an image to display. Probably a conditional statement that checks member groups.

Also there is a member award mod at SMF which may suite your needs.
see the mod at http://mods.simplemachines.org/index.php?mod=475

Thanks! I figured it out...
[I went to my edit membergroups and I changed the image with the star to my own image]
thanks for your help anyway!

Great, that was so simple, and I really tried to make it complex.

Funny how you can usually figure it out after you make a post asking 'How to?'

And thanks for letting us know how you solved it. That helps others!

I want to make a set of buttons like yours except I want it to say BWA Support, admin, team

Where can I make it?

[borgBOB]

I suggest you use a graphics program to create a blank, then make a copy and add the text you want.

Make blank button.  Make a copy of blank button. Insert Text on copy of blank button, say Team, save as team.gif - repeat as needed.
