Wich Gallery for TP and SMF?

[whoesa]

Hi all,

I have photofolio gallery on my site now but i would like to replace that one with a gallery who has more options.
So i've been searching around and reading about different galleries here and on SMF site. But there are so many that i couldn't make a choice.    I was hoping you guys could help me to decide what is best.

The galleries that look interesting to me:

• Coppermine
• vbgamers gallery (beta)
• Gallery2 (beta)

I know TP Gallery is also coming our way someday but i guess that's not something for tomorrow...
What do you guys think, should i wait for TP Gallery or which gallery do you guys recommend to go for?

Any advice would be helpfull...
Thanks

Until TP Gallery arrives, i suggest you use Coppermine. It really has many features and options to play with.

hey i got copermine too its pretty good

but im wondering anyone know of any good addons to use with it?

[G6Cad]

Have you checked the Coppermine site ? There are a lot of links to diffrent features to add to coppermine, found a theme site with over 200 diffrent themes to some time ago

Indeed. But no theme previews are available. So, kind off, you end up guessing according to description given...

[G6Cad]

No, the site i ended up with had priviews on the themes, i will see if i can find it again

[akulion]

i checked out their site a few days ago and its soo confusing, there are no screenshots for what mods do and the boards are a mess

[G6Cad]

What I found from some of all the posts there regarding themes, was a link to some ones testsite, with all avaliable themes installed so you could see them live.
I cant find the post, but i will keep looking

[examino]

Yes, please.

[whoesa]

Okidoki, guess i'll go for coppermine then.

Now i only need to find the correct thread to integrate it in TP and SMF. There are like 15 different threads all over the place lol.

Thanks for the advice!
