Downloads problem

Not sure if this is a bug Im guessing user error

Whenever I download from my site and try to open the zipped file with the windows zip program I get this error

The Compressed (zipped) Folder is invalid or corrupted

The zip file works before I upload it and it works if I directly download it with winscp from my tp-downloads folder.But if I try to download it from my site it is corrupted.

any ideas?

Check the permissions on your tp-download directory, it must have atleast 755 or 777

I changed all permissions to 777 still no love

Sounds like a server or browser issue to me. I've never had such a problem. Does any corruption happen with any other types of files?

Its weird an after some more checking I can open the zips and they are fine with winrar but not the windows zip program and they are definetly zip files. I will try to upload some different file types and try

This is killing me

Whatever type of file I download threw tpdownload gets corrupted
I tried a gif a rar and a zip But if I download them directly from the tpdownload folder they work fine. So im at a loss . What could it be any idea where to start?

Yes, contact your host and ask them to look in to the problems on your space.

Or cross your fingers and try to upload them manually through FTP and replace the uploaded corrupted files and see if it works
