Advanced Visual Registration Error

I had added this mod to one theme and when I changed it didnt display the visual box, so I removed it successfully with no errors. Now when someone tries to register, it gives this error.

The letters you typed don't match the letters that were shown in the picture.

Anyway to eliminate this>?

Is the mod still installed? If the mod installed to the default theme you're probably going to have to uninstall the mod completely to get rid of that error.

That is a SMF bug no?

I had teh same issues and disabled it in the admin > registeration settings.

the captcha sucks really terribly!!

its best to turn it off otherwise ur gona lose out on new members

Yes, it's been reported in the Advanced Visual Registration mod forum, a very long debate about the error, and that the mod didnt uninstall correct.
If i remember correct, they told that you had to remove all the code manually from the default, but best thing is to read the thread that holds the discussion about it

I just tried to disable it and when I went into the  panel for it I get.

Unable to load the 'verification_settings' template.

Upload a new file from the SMF package and see it you are good to go

It's fixed! I just had to switch back to the old template to get access to it and disable it. Tell the people to get their stuff together. Jeez!
