I have a few questions.
That is , i wanna know if these are possible.

QUESTION #1 :

One thing i dont like here is the font in which block titles, category titles are displayed.
I want to use an Art Font for Block titles.
I will make them as images. And for each Block, when creating i'll enter the image name in the block title.

And i will change : -
' ,$block['title'], '
to this
<img src="' . $settings['images_url'] . '/' ,$block['title'], '">

Will that make the image appear as Block Title.

QUESTION #2 : -
I dont want the menu to be displayed in Frontpage, Profile, PM, Memberlist and few other pages.
I want it to display only when viewing BoardIndex, MessageIndex and when reading messages.

Is this possible ?
Please let me know the code.

QUESTION #3 : -
How to have diff header images for diff parts of the Site.
Like for PM, Downloads etc...

Like in this site.

Question 2 & 3 can be easily achieved through IF-ELSE statements.
I just want to know the right way.

These will decide if i'll use TP for my site templora.com

Thank You

No no no! That will probably screw things up and is terrible html too. Instead what you'd want to do is edit the blocks code to add an ID, and then use css text replacement.

gfxindia

why would that screw up thinngs ?

the text entered for block title appears as an URL.

its just a string. i can use the string anyway i like.
right ?

or i'll enter full image url in the place of block title
and change to

<img src="' ,$block['title'], '">

Will that work.

CSS wouldn't work since i wanna use art fonts

eldacar

Learn CSS and use it properly. Use CSS to do image text replacement.

gfxindia

How can that be done ?

BTW, What i told cant be done ? Why ?

eldacar

It can be done, but it's silly, and in accessible.
Change the blocks code to add id="block#" to each block title. Change the title to be wrapped in a span.
Then in your css do something like

#block13 span {
display: none;}
#block13 {
background: url('yourpic.png');}

gfxindia

so what i said could be done ?
I think it is better isn't it ? coz i dont want to code very block in to CSS
i just give the image while making the block.

eldacar

What happens for screen readers? What happens in other themese?
And why would you want to refer to a block by a url??

What happens for screen readers?
what do you mean by that ? i dont understand.

i wouldn't use any other theme. i'll make only this theme.

i am referring to an image's URL.
so instead of text, the image will be displayed a block title.
