Integrate Another site within TP?

Hiya all

I am building a World of Warcraft guild website up at the moment. We have for the last 6months or so been using DKP tracking sites to keep track of points and progress. I have seen this done elsewhere but just don't know how to do it.. How can I make it so that these tracker sites (or any other site come to think) are integrated into the center section of the pages instead of having to go and load a different site up (i.e click link in menu on left and the page loads in the TP pages)

You can create an article and put in the url for the page or site between iframe tags <iframe>url to the site</iframe>

Thanks for the reply. I guess when you say create a article its a php article for it to work? (I just tried a normal article but it didnt work, or is that down to using the WYSIWYG editor?)

Hmm.. just tried doing it with the php article instead and went to load the resulting article up and was greeted with the following error:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected '<' in /PATHTOSITE/Sources/Load.php(1709) : eval()'d code(225) : eval()'d code on line 1

Whats this mean then, other than summats not worked?

Cheers for that, managed to get it worked out in the mean time between posting that message and your reply. Used a php article though instead if that makes any difference and put the following in it:

Code Select Expand

include('http://www.thesiteI linked.com/Page.php');

I assume that the isnt any actual difference when doing it like that?

Nothing at all exept one uses html and the other php

Just discovered a slight problem in that if I click on any of the links that are on the page thats included they dont actually open up in the iframe but open up full screen instead. Is there a way of combatting this effect also?

If its any help I am integrating the EQDKP system into the portal (1.1RC3 and 0.9.5 TP).

Since the page you're linking to is a .php page, could you copy the php from that page into a TP php article?

If I was to copy the php page into the article that wouldnt make all the subsequant links within the article open within the portal would it? Those links would still be pointing at a different URL to the actual portal wouldnt they?

I am pretty sure that I have seen other warcraft guids integrate thier eqdkp trackers, just wish I could recall the URL's so I could ask them!

same here.. id like to integrate phpraid and eqdkp as blocks into my portal, and when anything is clicked its (for the time being) opened up in a new window
