error " Not Valid Package "

i get this message when uploading tp 9 beta
The package you tried to upload either is not a valid package or has become corrupted.
i'm upgrading my smf from rc1.2 to rc1.3

Permission error, the package cant be read by the installer cause the file in the package manager are set to the wrong permission.
Go in throug FTP or Cpanel to your packages folder and change the folder to 777 and the content in the packages folder the same
