Great Suggestiosn Xarcell. Is the option in the membergroup to allow "manage downloads" what you're looking for on #4? Or just being able to allow the user change/delete whatever that user submits? I can see that as an option, but only if the Admin can allow or deny it also.

Fel have that in her TP V.091 rev4 release, and i can confirm that was a really good thing to have, I lost that thing when i upgraded to TP V.095 though. But it was greate to have the editor in the Download section to

5.| The FTP Upload is tooo complex as a "normal"  user that understand.
      Simple make a select list of all files there NOT registered on Upload Table, to pic a FTP upload, get him a descruption, category, icon, read the size and add this to the database. Thats better and simpler I think. ...

6.| forgott the uplaod approval .. put all new uploads in ONE Upload categorie that have selectable access, and then the Admin can check the file and move that to the correct categorie (or remove).

2. this will come..users should be able to edit their uploads/descriptions
3. well, yes and no..the scrollbars are intentional so big images won't break the layout. But a thumbnail that show the bigger in a popup could be useful.Lucklily SMF already have a great create thumbnail function.
4. this would go hand in hand with editing the item - and yes, the admin should decide if the deletion is allowed. Maybe put in a queue, much like article submitted.
5. hm, I want to keep the list we have..because then its easy to select multiple ones and put it into a category. But the layout could be better.

Some other things i believe should be added are:

7: The ability to sort files by name, date and size (Not neccesarily type as you can simply create more categories and even more...  ).
8: The ability for an admin to set the befault way of sorting files (name, date or size)
9: The ability to choose how many results to display per page for user and admin
