Recent Topic on Portal

Hi

I've browsed around for hours and hours trying to find out how to do this but no luck.

I would like to use the Recent Topics facility in the file PortalRecentPosts.php but i need to exclude certain forums or subforums.

Can this be done, i dont want to add a new block because i love the layout of the one in that file.

It can be done. Look at the recent topics thread in the block-code snippets to learn how to do it.

I reckon i must be tired or not understanding the posts that is in snippits, because i cant find the code for that file they seem to be saying about creating a seperate block.

yes - if you look in there you will find the info on how to make it in a new block, or as a seperate page.
