Board news as article

I'd like to have opening page for newcomers (easy, coloful, downloads etc), but also news for veterans.
I couldn't find any option to use board news as article, so I could post a link to it in menu.

I'm just finishing converting my old news script to article to do it.

Btw. I tried to cut out boardnews from TPortal.template.php, and got stuck when $context['TPortal']['boardnews']) seemed to have sizeof just 1, while $context['TPortal']['frontpage_limit'] showed expected value.

Also this will be a feature in the next TP.
I suggest you read the Roadmap, there you will see what possibilities you have in the next release

I read it but couln't find it.
Since I'm moving to another host this month and I want to switch from hacked php-fusion to tp at one time, I can't wait for that version.
