I remembered saying at the SMF Forums that nobody who uses TP should upgrade their forum until the new Tiny Portal 0.95 is released. However one SMF person replied stating that they could still upgrade if they felt like it.

Then I replied back, what about Tiny Portal that won't work with the new version of 1.1.rc3. He stated that forum owners can disable or remove Tiny Portal until they get their new version together.

I don't think many people will be doing that! What does people think abou that one!

We dont recoment upgrade SMF until the next TP is released if the members want to use TP with out errors or troubble.
But i have installed Tp V.086 on 1.1rc3, but i had to do it manually when the package manager faild on me even if i changed the xml file to work with 1.1rc3.
And when i tried to upgrade from TP V.086 to V095beta, i got errors on all most all files, so i had to manually remove the Tp V.086 in order to install Tp V.095.
If you know your way around he code in TP and SMF, this is done prety fast, but for those that dont, it can be a nightmare later on when it's time for them to install Tp V.095.

So all recomendations is to simply wait for TP V.095 before upgrading to1.1rc3 if they want TP on their SMF forums.

Look staff, aren't you going to put up with this? Most RC3 related posts are just peeps complaining about waiting for 0.9.5 or continually, continually asking for a release date. Seriously, aren't you staff getting sick of it?

You fool. I wasn't complaining about the release date at all. I was complaining that SMF users totally disregarded Tiny Portal stating to just "remove or disable" it for 1.1.rc3. Like it was rubbish or something.

Some SMF Coders don't like to hear this but the software wouldn't have been this successful if it wasn't for TP or the themes/mods created for it. The software itself is quite average, it's the add on's that makes it something.

"you fool" yourself. ive seen similar complaints before. there are many sites that complain about users who do not bother to use the search feature. if you are going to load a forum with posts that have already been posted, why bother?

i have been watching your posts here now, iand i will state this for you.
IF you cant post any thing with value, please dont post at all, I have been to your forum, and i have seen your way of running a forum in several posts there.
WE here, dont like nor do we want that kind of administration to TinyPortal forums.
So if you want to play the way you do, i will just remove the posts from you andlock the threads, and if that doesent help, i will ask for Bloc to change the permissions on you to read only.
Again, keep your posts clean or dont post at all and let the Staff here judge what is good and whats not in the forums and posts.

As I will state again, I was not complaining about search feature or anything like wise. I was pointing out how SMF disregards Tiny Portal as a important add on or feature.
