I know about images and that kinda stuffstuff, but my page sometimes loads in 11.88 seconds sometimes 20 or more  on my connection which is extremely fast. It is not that big. Like 67K. compared to other that load much faster it is small. the web page analalyzer says this

Connection Rate Download Time
14.4K 52.25 seconds
28.8K 26.23 seconds
33.6K 22.51 seconds
56K 13.59 seconds
ISDN 128K 4.30 seconds
T1 1.44Mbps 0.56 seconds

My connection is faster than 1.44 MBS so why does it load so slow for me. There are a lot of rss feeds on it. does this contribute. Even when I remove the logo at the top which is 12K or so it does not help much. It also has major errors when I validate it :2funny: but many sites that load faster have plenty of errors too. I just have more :uglystupid2:

Hopefully I will fix them as best I can when the next release comes out :tickedoff:.

Is it down to the host.even refreshing the page can take 3, 4, 5, 6 seconds or more.Sometimes when working in admin :coolsmiley: section making some moves and hitting send it takes 5,6,7,8 or more seconds. Then when you click home to view your handywork more delay. wtfreak :tickedoff:

A lot of things affect page load. On your site I would have to say that RSS feeds and the video feed is whats going to slow you down the most. You can always disable all your custom blocks and articles and see how fast it loads. Then enable each block one at a time to see if any particular block is causing some slow down.

I just went to disable the video in th center section and it took forever to reload the page. then after that was reloaded and all set I refreshed again and it took
like 6.5 seconds.I put the wrong screen shot in the second attach but it is possible it could happen.

I will disable everything extra and see what happens.

It can also be server realted, a lot of traffic and a lot of sites sharing the same server at the host

My thoughts exactly. It was just moved to a new server in hopes of things working better, but it seemed to slow down considerably.

It was the rss feeds at least 1 or 2 anyway .The movie don't seem to matter. I was planning on using a lot of them[rss feeds] :tickedoff:Wasn't there some improvement in the next release  I saw that would help with this. Something about how it handles rss feeds. I don't know if that improvement is related to my problem.

Not sure if the improvement are going to help. But you will be able to see as soon as Bloc is ready to release 0.9x
