ok, I didn't see anyone say anything disrespectful so I thought it must have been what I said about demanding SMF to change their name.

and I agree.  Just look over a few pages of his posts and anyone could see how important he was to the community.  I honestly worried about the future of SMF when I saw he wasn't there anymore.  I am relieved that it is still going strong - and can't live without TP/SMF.

I remember Unknown as being pretty much the SMF god so to speak. Never once did i see him post anything negative about anyone or any question no matter how crazy or how many times he had answered it before. I actually stopped using SMF for a while due to the fact it was unable to support the things i needed at the time the way a certain other board could.

After coming back and seeing that he was gone i was at the least shocked. Actually wondered myself if SMF would crash and burn but seems to be going quite well. Perhaps things will happen that will bring Unknown back but then again i don't know the reasons he left to start with

I say yes he will come back. But not nesacarily now, maybe in the future. I guess he's probably doing something now...it might take a couple more months, or a couple years.
