help with Articles

I have a member on my board that has posted some Articles but I don't know how to show them on the front page
I have a number of Articles that I use for different things and they show up OK, but I can't seem to get his to show up, is there any way I can do this without losing the ones I have already.
I know you can show only Articles on the front page but it wont show his
or do I have to allow his in some way. [edit] I now know how to approve but I still cant get it to show up [/edit]

He posted actual articles or forum posts?

If you have the front page set to just show only articles, and he's made forum posts, they won't show up.

If they're forum posts, instead, just switch it from only articles to both articles and forum posts.

It was an actual articles he posted.
(I have now moved all the articles I have used to custom actions, using the custom action mod)
But I still cant get his article and forum posts to show up, even if I switch to show articles only or both articles and forum posts,

maybe check the date?

try setting one as featured, see if that brings it to front page (test it)


I too use the custom action mod, may I suggest that its easier to organize the articles then it is the custom actions

I have looked at the date and that seems to be OK, and I have set it as featured, also I have tried it with to show Only articles and Both forum and articles but it still not showing it must be something I am doing but I don't know what

I find that the custom action mod works fine for what I need, I use it for my gallery  a links page and a Privacy Statement, plus one game
