Regarding Security Updates

I am pretty new to Tinyportal and have just downloaded and installed tp 3-4 days ago.

I have a question. There are many security patches released for to 0.8.6 and this is the version which I downloaded around 4 days ago. So do I need to download and apply all these security updates or has these updates been applied to the package available for download?

If you have downloaded the TP with in the last coupple of weeks, you have the latest updates in the packages already, so you are safe from the hacks through the shoutbox

If you have an older package (not the rev2 that are the latest) you will have to upgrade your forum with the update package in the download section

Thats good, but then shouldn't the version number of tp be increased say from 0.8.6 to 0.8.6.1? Or the rev2 appended to the downloadable package means that it's already updated? Actually in the downloads directory, there are two files, one is Tinyportal0_86_rev2.zip and the other is Tinyportal0_86_rev2_UPDATE.zip. It got me confuses as to whether the second package is meant to upgrade your existing installation to rev2 or whether this package is meant for rev2. I guess it upgrades tp to rev2. Am I right? If this is so, I think you guys should mention it over here.
