Hi guys.

Love SMF.  Getting ready to install TP, but I have an issue already.  I was using the MOD info to replace the old code with the new but it isn't finding chunks of code.  In particular in the templates/default/index.template.php

I do a search and 3/4 of the code is not there

I downloaded the Tinyportal0_86_rev2.zip
and I am running SMF 1.0.7

Any help in this area would be awesome.

Thanks

Any reason you're not installing this through the package manager?

I didn't know how to link up the two.  Perhaps you can help me there

Where do I find both

I have downloaded  TinyPortal v.0.8.6
Is there another file for the package manage, and how do I find that?

Thank you

The Tp V.086.zip is the file you use when you installing tiny portal through your packagemanager in your SMF adminpanel

When you have downloaded the package to your local machine, go to your package manager and browse to the file on your local machine, and choose upload and the apply mod

If you have downloaded TinyPortal v.0.8.6 you must have a file, Tinyportal0_86_rev2.zip in your PC. This is the file for installation with Package Manager.

Put file on desktop,
goto admin>packages-downloadpackages.
Scroll to bottom, where it says upload a package, press browse,
find and double click the tinyportal zip,
click upload,
wait,
then when it's done, press the apply mod button.
TP will now be installed.

Thats basically how you do it. No addon for SMF for it, it's always there :)

Also, didnt tinyportal need RC2?

As Dr. Phil would say..  "I couldn't get any dumber if you cut my head off..." :2funny:

The package installer is in the forum..  Now I get it.  Well everything installed painlessly, and I love it.  Thank you so much.

Do I need to upgrade to RC2?

Blessings
