There is a retangular box that states..."There are no articles in this section yet".

Can I get rid of that box or edit the content?

I suggest you read this now It's not fully updated, but the main content there have links to the forum and answers to all your questions on how to use TP. As a Beta tester you have to learn some of it by trial and error, and find your way through Tp and how to use it
