I think he got so shocked that he doesent even feel anything beside the anger from the adrenalin the bodey start to produse in him the same second he gets hit by the car.
Sadly but tru, he can have really bad damages to both his bodey and internal organs, but he doesent feel it cause of the shock, thats why it's so important to force people in accidents like that to lay down and dont move at all, they can even stand up and walk with their spine or neck broken until the shock is gone.
