Nothing to do with TP, I have a smilie collection and I'm looking for a better way to organise and display them. There are quite a few simple image galleries, but all the ones I've looked at don't do what I want. The are for photo's, all jpg's and thumbnails.

What I want is a script based gallery that will just display the images as they are, animated gifs. No single image slide show, no thumbnails. Just set the number of rows and columns and make the pages.

Does anyone know if such a thing exists?

u can try this out...its pretty simple..havent tried it with animations, but i dont see why it wouldnt work

putting thumbnails is optional

and whatever files you upload to ur images dir get displayed on the page

its ajax too so no page refreshing required - no DB required

Thanks, both of you. I've downloaded them both and I'll have a look later in the week (daughters birthday today).

If I may jump in...I saw on another forum someone recommended coppermine.  It looks good.  any Feedback on coppermine compared to the downloads suggested here?

thanks ahead, hygron

Coppermine a quite big and a lot of configuration is needed before you can use it.
The other two require minimum space, and a lot less effort to get it display what you want to show in the gallery

If you want to permanent have a large amount of images with rating and commenting, the coppermine is the best way, but for jut show off a small amount with no ratings or commenting, the other two is far better to try out :)

thanks alot G6 I have a friend that uses coppermine, and it is good to know that it is the way to go for large collections, as well knowing these other galleries use less space...good info

I really like this site.  I can't wait to figure out how to write one of these great themes.

I'm having a fiddle with this one at the moment, it will display animated gif OK but I'm only getting one column no matter how many I set it to.

what about flashimagegallery, nokonium...did you try that yet?    Just asking for reference, i am in the same boat as you...looking for the right gallery.

I haven't tried that one yet, I've only just started to fiddle with PHP Photo Gallery.
