Tiny Portal and MYSQL 5.?

Is or will tinyportal be compatible with MYSQL 5.? I currently run mysql 5.0.22 and can not install tinyportal. I posted about it when it happened and it was felt/thought to be an issue with TinyPortal and MYSQL 5. Is anyone else seeing an issue with installing tinyportal on a MYSQL site and/or will TinyPortal soon work on MYSQL 5. I have a few more sites I want to get tiny portal on but can not since moving away from MYSQL 4.? plus I wan worried I will not be able to upgrade to a higher version of Tinyportal when it come out

I had/have problems installing in mysql5 

If its "your" mysql theres an easy fix here.

I think Ray made TP work with the latest SQL

so the downloads should now work with MYSQL 5 or should I try the fix listed in the link

TP is not fully conveted to work flawless with MySQl 5. I need to check every sql call for strict mode and that is not finished yet.(TP v0.9.5)

ok that is cool, v0.8.6 is not a concern just the next version so I know I can upgrade to it without any problems
