Split left,center,and right

how to split block one line, from left, center, and right.. so we will have one block

as you see this site.. crossing block between left, right, and right..

If I understood well, you want a piece of screen to take the full width above (or below) the panels, while the rest retaining the usual structure, left (and/or) right blocks available.

I don' t know any other way to do this than modifying index.template.php. As far as I know this can' t be obtained with a block.
