I noticed that when registering with any TP site, this portion of the registration page reads:

QuoteChoose username:
Used only for identification by SMF.

I would imagine, for TP, it should read "Used only for identification by SMF and TP." or something to that affect.

I'd suggest just changing it to recognize TP, as well as SMF.

TP is based on SMF, it is a CMS excusively for SMF.

If someone wants to, it' s easy to change the strings in language files.

I know, it's easy to change.

I just thought it would be good, since the members would be using and seeing TP as much as the forum, if not more, that it'd be good to mention it. Considering there will be many more modules added on, more time will be spent off the forum (SMF) and in those other areas (TP).

Or maybe not. Just a suggestion.

anunlike members usually pass the registration process as quickly as possible  so I don' t think many will notice it. For many users SMF and TP is something they will never bother for, they see and use a site for their interests.

I think TP is widely known and used now and members will see, where installed, TP and it's benefits everyday.

However it' s up to Bloc to decide.

It means modifying that portion of the string at mod install time if it were to be default...I don't really see the need for such a subtle change. Also: for those using other languages it will have no effect, since I can't possibly mod every language installed out there. :)

Yeah, I thought about all the string changes and whatnot and that it is a very minor thing to change.

Good points.
