I've been trying all morning to get a front block on my front page. I even inserted that recent block code you just posted Bloc. I hit the save button, and nothing appears on my front page. Even if I do just plain HTML. Am I missing something in my database or something?

Nokonium

I had that problem and when Bloc had a look at my test site he made the comment that I'd made some modifications to the default theme. They were not major, the logo, removing the background colour from the TP sidebars, new buttonset and CSS changes.

The bottom line is, I recreated a default theme only modified by the Package Manager Mods and I had all the blocks working properly.

Is the blocktype set to the "php" type? and the setting in "frontpage settings"/"What to show on frontpage:" is set to "frontpage blocks"?

IchBin

Aha!! That was it Bloc. Didn't realize I had to set it on the "What to show on frontpage:" setting. :o :uglystupid2:

:) its not immediate apparant..but I will add a help-note in "edit blocks" if any frontpage blocks are active - and the setting is NOT set to show frontblocks. This could also extend to if the sidebars are turned "off".

I'm trying to do this as well, but dont see any option to set for a frontpage block. Am I missing something?

Its not in the version 0.65, only in 0.72.

Thanks. I'll do the update once it is released. It is something I'd need on a public version for my main site.
