Hi Folks

I get the error message below on instal.  I am running SMF 1.0.5.  Any advice?

File: /home3/yim30/public_html/Sources/Subs-Package.php

You have to change the permission for the files TP needs to be able to install.

Change the permissions to atleast 755 or 777 through your ftp or cpanel

I'm getting the exact same error.  Could you please specify which files to chmod to get rid of this error?  I did it to teh Subs-Package.php, but it still has the error.  Thanks.

Use the adminpanel for your SMF and put in your ftp account and then check the catbox to make the files needed writable

Thanks for your quick reply.

I got it working now.

I kept getting the same error with different file names.  I found out that I had to manually upload all of the different .gif's and the language.php's and then chmod them.

I'm pretty sure I did do the admin ftp thing but for some reason it didn't do it automatically for me.

It's working now though.  Thanks.  :)
