Error in IE on forum pages

I've got an error message on all my forum pages, but not on the portal pages.  After counting down the rows on the source code, it looks like the problem lies in a marquee script, but I'm not 100% sure.  Seems a bit odd, because I wasn't aware Helios had a marquee text in it.

The error message is this:

Line: 59
Char: 1
Error: Object required
Code: 0

Forum address is http://www.cafedoom.com/forum/index.php?action=forum

Anybody got any ideas what it is and how to fix it?  Thanks :)

Did you mess with the code cause you are deff missing something.

Blunt

No, I didn't alter it at all.  I downloaded it from here and uploaded it to the server - that's all.  Oh, and I installed the update after the shoutbox problem came to light.

So you think the fault is in the index.php template for the SMF default theme?  I guess it must be, because the error appears in every theme.

Is that right?  Thanks.

Blunt

Refresh the page and that bar will fill in that's missing from your screenshot.  I'm having a lot of problems with slow loading gfx and ultra slow posts.  Lots of strange things going on, even though the server doesn't look to have any problems.  Load averages are generally low.

I was hoping that fixing this error might be the thing that will sort it all out.

I think this can be the cause of the IE error you are having.

I installed that to yesterday, and got the same problem with the images not loading even if they were there. After i removed it , it went back to normal

Blunt

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean, G6 - do you mean the old Helios themes?  If so, I uninstalled them all when I started using TP.  At least I uninstalled them in the admin CP.  Maybe I should check to see if they're still on the server?

I'll have a look.  Thanks for the suggestion :)

Blunt

Hmm - I've just looked in my themes directory, on the server, and found all these -

TP_Epsilon11rc2
TP_apollo11rc2
TP_helios_multi11_rc2
TP_pnpn11
babylon
cerberus11rc2
classic
default
helios
helios_gold
helios_green
helios_multi11rc2
helios_silver
test
theme1

I'm a bit wary about deleting the wrong thing.  I assume I can leave Babylon, Classic, and Default in place - they are included in the TP upload, aren't they?  But everything else that hasn't got the TP extension has to go, yes?

Blunt

Right - I've re-named all the obsolete folders and left just the default and the TP marked ones intact.  I'm still getting the same error message on the forum pages, even after a hard refresh. :(

Do you get the same error if you remove the extra colors you installed?
The extra color package could somehow be corrupted and thats why you get the error.

Another thing you could check is that you actually HAVE all the images where they suppose to be. The error calls for something thats not there. and when we look at your theme, it's a missing image in the center.

The extra colours are part of the TP Helios Multi theme - they weren't installed separately.  That's an old thread from the old Helios theme, where you had to install the colours separately. (now gone and renamed)

When I view it, I can't find anything missing.  Are you saying that when you view the forum you are missing the same image as Mitch was in his screen capture?
