Problems Logging In

I hope I'm posting this in the right place.

1. When I login, many times I'm given an error message and have to do it again. Maybe as high as 30 or 40% of the time login fails. It's not a mistake on my part so far as I can see (I've been on the Net over a decade and been a webmaster).

2. I cannot read a URL I received by email notifiying me of a received PM. I'm definitely logged in, but when I try to read it, all that happens is I'm given a message forcing me to login again. Which achieves nothing - so all I'm doing is going round in circles logging in over and over.

3. I've had the experience of login being accepted - but I'm really not logged in. I have to carefully check to ensure that I am actually logged in.

All seems rather strange. Does it seem like there could be a some problem with my account here?

Where you posted was fine. I moved your post for better exposure. I have not seen this problem but perhaps someone else has. Let us know if the problem continues.

Try delete the coockies of section

-Tool --> Internet Options --> Delete Cookies

- Content --> Clear SSL state...Ã, 

Access direct by FTP main account and changing the admin e-mail in PHPadmin or in the Setting.php file

Yes, it is TP I'm having trouble with. Thanks for shifting my post.

Certainly possible. I did cookies and logged in twice in a row without problem. But a couple of times it still accepted my login, but didn't log me in.
However at the moment it seems to be stabilised so here's hoping...
