Does anyone happen to know how Bloc gets the frontpage to work on here??

Is it a feature of v0.9??

I've been "asked" that our website acts as more of an advertisement on it's home page; and the way that Bloc does it here looks perfect for our needs.
I've tried setting an article as featured with a Single Page set but it ends up removing the left bar through out the whole site, which I don't want.

If you need it, a little change on TPortal.php can help you.

Search for:

            if($mypage!='' ){
               // add visual options for an article
               $context['TPortal']['use_articleoptions']=true;

Replace with:

            if($mypage!='' && !isset($_REQUEST['action']) ){
               // add visual options for an article
               $context['TPortal']['use_articleoptions']=true;

I think that the section calledEdit visual options for the article need set at the category than rather for a article alone  ::)

Hmmm...please explain yoursefl better ^__^

What he say is that instead of create a single article, create an category, and put the article in there when you create one

Thanks G6 :)
I've tried to do as elpvn said, but even if I put a featured article into a category the problem remains.

I used a center block with one article - that way I can put articles and blocks on the front page -- after you make the block you can go back and use the options tap -- found top right - and set the left bar to stay -- look here www.rranderson.com/arcade
