is your block-SQuery_tiny.php working stand alone? Have a link? If you got a blank block it may be because you typed the path wrong.

I can't seem to find ANY support over at squery.com using block-SQuery_tiny.php.  I think I'm a bit lost as to what you mean in terms of making it work 'stand alone'.  Tell me if I'm on the right track...

I'm using Fantastico.  Not sure if you're familiar with it.  Basically, I am in the file manager, I went to the exact folder containing block-SQuery_tiny.php, clicked the file and then clicked on the file url.  It sent me to a blank page.  This is the same phenomenon when I include this file in either a phpbox or php article.

Here's the link to the file:  Link to index.php by accessing block-SQuery_tiny.php
Here is the link to the article: Link
Here's the link to my site:  Link

I've just tried different things.  My goal is to get this appear in a right-side block.  I thought I'd try using the article just to see how it shows up but no luck.

Let me know if you need a username for the site, I'll PM you the info.

What he mean by "work standalone" is that you need to make sure the file "block-SQuery_tiny.php" is working by itself.
If the file doesent work it will not work with the include eather.
But atleast we know where to start looking for the error.
If you get a 404 or a blank page when you execute the file itself from the browser, it must be something with the file itself, and not the include to TP.

Would it help if I attached a copy of the file block-SQuery_tiny.php, config.php and/or index.php?

G6Cad

It would help the coders a  lot to see them yes :)

JOSHSKORN

here's the files.

block-squery_tiny.php is found in boardurgl/gamequery/blocks
index.php is found in path boardurl/gamequery/squery
config.php is found in path boardurl/gamequery/squery/lib

No it will not help. You have to put the server information in the config files for the block-SQuery to work. If you can't get that file to display your server there's not much we can do about it.

I've put the information in the config.php file on the previous reply.  I put information in three places, because I wasn't sure where to put it: the static variables, the block array, and the favorites array.

Just out of curiosity, do you think that my error COULD be the fact that I simply haven't forwarded my domain to the folder smfforums12, yet?  Under the variable $websiteurl.  I tried both with and without the smfforums12 folder and no luck.

Does anyone know if this can be made to work for an old game called Tribes?  I did not see it on the default list.  ie server info IP:208.109.16.97 port:28007
I tried it on a stand alone site but received no results.

Support for Squery is on the squery site, not tinyportal.
