You first need to get squery running and working as a stand alone script on your site.

You mean like this?

Basically in the config.php, I only configured the favorites array and commented out everything else.  That is, the block servers array, and the static variable assignments for IP, port and game.

This is a php article that calls /gamequery/SQuery/index.php via an include statement.

If thats what you want yes. If you want the block to work you need to get the blocks file to work to display a certain server.

I do want it in a block, that's my preference.  Now tell me this....I like the whole favorites thing, but I don't want it to take me to a new window.  Instead, when I click on a favorite, I want it to appear inside the block.  Does the code permit this?  If so then how?

I just tried setting the static information and the block servers array in config.php.  No luck.

i dont have any idea to install this...this is not a mod for smf....it is just to upload to ur ftp and try to see the server by that include code?

Thats all you have to do to get it to work in TP. But you have to get it working outside of TP first.

Yes, you upload the script and configure the files as it tells you to. Thats pretty much it.

well I've got it working outside of TP, now the problem is getting it to work inside TP.  How do I manage that one?

in mine test forum ...dont appear anything....the strange thing is that the srver dont respond queries in the squery site...i like he is offline very strange....it is possible that the server has protection against queries?....because the strange thing is that in xfire the server apear

I went over to squery.com, found a tool to test my server for open ports. It has the necessary query port for Halo open.  Might want to consider that, too.  You have to register to get any downloads there.

in a php article or phpbox block:

include('path/to/squeryfile.php');

Which file though?  I've tried this with index.php and it didn't fit inside the block, I tried it with

include('path/to/block-SQuery_tiny.php')

and got a blank block.
