Hey,

I installed TP 86 on SMF 1.0.7 without a hitch running Helios. Now that I have how in the heck do I use it? Is there a guide? This stuff is great!

This whole forum is a guide in what you can do and how to use it :)

My tip to you now is to simply surf arround in here and try everything you can find ;)

I'm a little confused here. I looked at many threads about installing and all but I seem to be having a problem with the package.

I need to set the chmode permissions to 777, but when I initially installed smf it was throught Fantastico and I did it into my public_html file (root) as it's the only thing I'm running on this site. So when I go to the package manager and then to installation options it doesn't say anything about cleanup permissions unless I'm just totally missing it!

So I can change chmode permissions via FTP, but since it is already in my root directory how do I know which files to change the chmode on?

There is obviously a glitch somewhere as I see no TP admin anywhere and it's not anywhere on the bottom of my site (in sig). Whenever I go to apply mod it gives me this error message:

2: copy(/home/junkman/public_html/Themes/default/images/divider.gif) [<a href='function.copy'>function.copy</a>]: failed to open stream: Permission denied
File: /home/junkman/public_html/Sources/Subs-Package.php
Line: 961

Thanks for the help

OK so I fixed it....

Call me stupid if you must

Alright big big big problems

None of my boards are showing except 1 and no images.

I dont think you have installed the right themes for the portal.
You have to use the TP themes and not the SMF only

This is the link to the TP themes for your version of SMF 1.0.7
