Why is it, that when you take time to do something like make a (albeit small) site for someone (school PTA). The potential users who all like it, wont be able to all because the ***** of a head master now decides he wants to chat to the schools IT engineer about creating a school web site, with maybe a slot for the PTA  :o

Well i just put up a re-direct, so screw em is all i got to say. Let the IT engineer go do his thing. He wont get any help from me  :tickedoff:

I just want to say thanks to you that helped with all the questions i asked about to get the site up. What a waste of time.

Had to rant sorry  >:(

I hear you, Paulie - sometimes people think they can do better.

I don't know about in your parts, but around here, schools don't like to put up php based message boards on their servers. At least the public schools don't. So if they end up wanting one, they source it out.

Paulie

I was hosting it ffs. And to be honest, i dont think they would know a php based message board even if it came up and bit them on their ass.

Moocat

that is pretty lame. there's nothing worse than having your work be unappreciated and unused.

Paulie

The thing that pisses me off more than anything else is that fact that (as people who have answered some of my questions know) i`m totally crap at any sort of coding, so it took me a long time to get just right.

Moocat

i know what ya mean bro. it's a pain in the arse when people give you something to do then just totally trash all your good work.
