Article Comments Section

How does it work? I have it turned off on all of my articles because I'm not sure how it's supposed to work. Do you have to be a member of the site, do guests have permission to post? Does the comments section automatically use SMF security measures to prove human before posting?

Is there a test article I can try it on here?

Guests are never allowed to comment. There is no guest permission for it. Is understand that may be an issue for you. There is a fix to allow guest comments (documented somewhere in another support thread) but it will NOT give you captcha like functions, so you'll open your forum to a flood of spam...

Ok, that's what I was looking for. I don't want to have it wide open and yes, I do need guest functionality but with security. Thanks @rjen.
