Ok, I think that's going to work!  Yay!

I might have to reinstall Simple Colorizer mod though.  My name in the Me and My Stuff block (User block) isn't taking the blue admin color.

I noticed you had two boxes checked in the setting for that test search block, where you should have only the board index box checked.  If that new block is performing as it should then yes, create some new ones set them up and make sure they are working as required then turn off and remove the old ones when sure everything is working.

Really not sure what happened, but hopefully doing this will sort it.  I was going to test this again by creating a block or two, but you've removed my admin permissions.

When I made a new User block, it worked.  But the Mini Calendar block isn't working.  At first I thought it might be because I used the "take from existing" option.  But now I just make it brand new.  But it's still showing in the boards.

Do you suppose it maybe just takes a few minutes to take effect?  Because when I first made that new  test search block, I'm pretty sure it was showing in the boards pages.  But then suddenly it was gone.

Sorry, I mis-read your last message.  But the MC block does only have 1 item checked.

Thanks, set all blocks to show on board index only.  I've found something which I need to check out. But I did this eventually without recreating the blocks.

The only difference I can see, between what I did and what you did, was I had all the languages checked, and you had them all unchecked.

That's the one. If you untick those you should be able to place it where you like. Did someone alter the language visibility options  at all when the so called spring clean took place?

I don't know, but I'll ask.  Well, they might have reinstalled them.  Or maybe forgot to reinstall them.

If you mean the language options in the Blocks options, I had them all checked before, and they were all checked after.  He didn't change those.
