[SOLVED] TPShout not showing anything

So on my forum with a TPShout block there's a problem. I made a new block, chose TP Module and selected "TP Simple Shout" (under the 'Modules' thing, at the bottom). However on the main page nothing is appearing. I'm not talking about just the shouts not appearing (that's what I've read in other topics here). Instead, nothing appears. Just the block named 'shoutbox' with nothing in it.

Theme name and version: Back n Black
Browser Name and Version: Chrome 28.0.1500.95 m, however the issue is also on internet explorer.
Mods installed: TinyPortal 1.107, Group Color in Posts and Profile

Add a new block, In the block type select TP Module.

Save.

Next, give the block a title.  Then just below the title you'll see Type: Tp Module, and the important bit, just below that you'll see a little radio button called "TPShout"  Tick that and then save.

Oh forgot to say, make sure you've turned the block on, and then hopefully enjoy your new shoutbox.

I have another question, is there any way to change the background colour of the shouts? The text colour (white/gray) is fine, but the background could be grey or something so you can see stuff better.. I hope you can help me with this.
